Official Statement: Desipalooza Sunday Programming Update
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — CHICAGO, IL — May 24, 2026 — Desivibes Productions announces that the final event of the Desipalooza weekend, originally scheduled for tonight at Bandit on Two, has been cancelled.

While this was a difficult decision, it follows an unprecedented and high-energy opening for the festival. We extend our deepest gratitude to the hundreds of guests who joined us on Friday and Saturday nights. The energy brought to the dance floor truly set a new standard for the South Asian nightlife scene in Chicago.

Reason for Cancellation: Following the extraordinary turnout of the first two nights, we observed a significant shift in projected attendance for the Sunday session. To maintain the high-caliber experience associated with our brand, the decision was made to conclude the festival early.

A Message from Desivibes Productions: "Desipalooza is more than a single event; it is a movement. What began as a concept for the South Asian community became a reality this weekend with Year 0. This journey has resonated from coast to coast, and we are incredibly proud of what we have built together."
